TARIF, JSC & STEK LTD are integral parts of IG SVETLANA CARD
The history of IG Svetlana Card goes back to 1993 when the first company
(MF TARIF, JSC) was founded to produce inductive cards for public
payphones. In 1996 STEK LTD was founded to produce public card-operated
payphones and, a few years later, Payphone Management Systems (PMS)
and Internet-access public terminals. STEK LTD is a part of IG Svetlana
Card, as well as MF TARIF, JSC. It soon became clear that the answer
to the growing needs of card-operated payphones market was the production
of chip, or smart cards. Since then time IG Svetlana Card has become
one of the biggest Russian manufacturers of chip cards, and STEK LTD
is one of the biggest Russian manufacturers of public payphones. More
than 70 million telephone cards and tens of thousands of payphones
have been supplied to different parts of Russia, from Kaliningrad
to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy. 50 PMSs are working in different parts
of Russia.
All SVYAZINVEST telecom companies (MRKs) are among our customers,
along with
tens of independent telecoms.
SIM-cards and other hi-tech smart-cards are also produced.
Now IG Svetlana Card is a modern hi-tech production plant
with more than 250
employees, and has subsidiary/partner companies in different Russian
towns.
IG Svetlana Card has its own production building in the northern part
of St
Petersburg.
Undoubtedly, STEK LTD (Director - Ms Elena N. Makova) and MF TARIF,
JSC
(Director - Mr Nikolay P. Makov) have full access to all production,
engineering and human resources of IG Svetlana Card.
Supplier of complex solutions
We offer "turn-key" solutions from payphones and terminals
to smart-cards
along with R&D, marketing & consulting services.

Transport applications
Since 2005 STEK LTD, in close co-operation with the Transport Committee
of
the Government of the City of St Petersburg, is realizing different
transport projects.
We produce contactless cards and hand-held / wall-mounted validators
for
contactless transport cards. Though this project is quite new, it
has proved
to be successful.
More than 3,000 hand-held validators were supplied to transport
organizations in St Petersburg.
